Smokey Bear’s BBQ was started in October 2010 by owners Barry and Leanne Mays. Barry had worked as a Law Enforcement Officer, but decided to take a leap of faith and follow his dream! He chose to incorporate his law enforcement history into the logo and menu design. Their own secret recipes were used to create the BBQ sauces, rubs and other menu items.
